Founded in 2020, Alyra Consulting began as a passion project to change the way businesses managed their revenues and sustainable strategy. They noticed a gap in which many organizations are unequipped to offer their customers the right products at the right price and are often stuck in dated business models.

Marika Gibson
Co-Founder
Marika holds a degree in International Business Management alongside a Master’s in Energy and Sustainable Development Management. She has dedicated the majority of her career to utility-scale renewable energy development, where she discovered a passion for blending sustainability with strategic growth.
Known for her inherently positive approach, Marika is a big-picture thinker who genuinely loves mentoring others and collaborating to design creative solutions.
Yanik Lacroix
Co-Founder
Yanik comes from an Aerospace Engineering background which earned him proficiency in advanced mathematics and computer science. He's a logical thinker, welcomes the challenge of solving a problem, and is looking forward to bringing insights through data into businesses and automating manual processes.
Yanik is enthusiastic about travel, learning from other diverse people around the globe, and spending time in the mountains.
Our Name
The word Alyra is short for Alpha Lyrae, the Latin name for the brightest star in the Lyra constellation and the fifth brightest in the night sky. Also commonly known as Vega, we named our business after this star because its qualities perfectly mirror our brand, our identity, and our journey.
Conceived during the turbulent COVID-19 pandemic, it felt entirely fitting to name our business in honor of a star; a nebula, after all, hosts some of the most hostile conditions for anything to be born into. While Alyra was originally founded by a trio of innovators who championed this initial vision, the torch was later passed to Yanik Lacroix Torrent and Marika Gibson to carry the company forward.
Bringing together Marika’s deep background in renewable energy development and Yanik’s extensive specialized knowledge of the airline industry, we united our distinct passions to shape Alyra’s next chapter. We realized that by combining our diverse professional backgrounds, we possessed the versatile skill set and strategic insight needed to help a wide variety of companies navigate their unique management needs.
